Review: TSW Riesling 2021

Review: TSW Riesling 2021

Thanks to Gary Walsh at The Wine Front for this review…

Vines nearly 100 years old. Tim’s Riesling is back in top form in 2021. Tim Exotic.

A bit exotic this one, with kaffir lime leaf and lemongrass perfume, lemon and lime. It’s pure and fine-boned, but packs in a good amount of flavour, the texture nicely dusted with a light chalkiness, and a bright and long finish. with a subtle quinine bite. Tops.

Most of the best things about Eden Valley Riesling can be found here.

Lime, blackcurrants, green pear, sage leaf – an evocative perfume. Lots of flesh and bright fruit flavours to sip on, a slosh of saline minerally character impressive prominent in the wine. Lots of flavour, lots of acidity rolling around, nice crunch of green apple in the mix. Refreshing, limey style with plenty of get up and go. MB 93 points
