Calling all Riesling lovers! Get this in your veins. Supreme refreshment awaits. Tim Smith keeps telling me how amazing the Barossa 2021 is. “Believe the hype!” he says. Based on this, wine lovers are in for a treat.
To summarise this Riesling in a few words: perfume, citrus, talc, sexy. How good is living?!
Gorgeous white flowers and bath salt perfume captivates from the outset. Lime juice runs riot with a subtle pith, a lick of lemons and citrus zest with a slight minerally drive. Go looking for some green apple and you’ll find it too. A fine sheet of talc drapes itself across a memorable finish. This just oozes class. Brilliant drinking really.
