Current Vintage: 2022

Unoaked. Vineyard planted in early 70’s. Slight chill. Afternoons, leading into sunsets…

“Black and red fruit meet right in the middle in this old vine regional Barossa Grenache. Black cherries, ripe raspberries and two tone mulberries, you know the ones. Subtle bay leaf and dried sage are followed by cassia bark and wet coffee grinds. There is a soft licorice on the palate with good density of fruit, perky acidity and enough stuffing for any red wine drinker. A wine for slow cooked meaty things like casseroles, stews and one pot wonders. Less fuss and more time to sit and enjoy your wine.” – Shanteh Wale

Review: 92 points (The Winefront)

“Plenty of juicy raspberry and cherry, a little mint and brown spice. Medium-bodied, ripe red fruit, dried banana, a smattering of herb and earth, supple tannin, and a minted red fruit finish of solid length, with a subtle savoury twist. Good.” – Gary Walsh
